With its 14 air-conditioned rooms, equipped with a walk-in shower, safe, WC, TV and free WIFI access,  Le Fanal is an hotel where personal service is paramount.  Most of our rooms have a beautiful terrace and sea view for you to enjoy.

To start every day of your holiday, you can choose whether to take your breakfast in your room or as a buffet in our dining room.  Tea, coffee, various breads, cereals, fruit, cold cuts and a cheese board are served from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

Parking is in the nearby public car park, just a few steps away.  There’s no need to worry about charges as we will take care of them for you.

Our Mediterranean Delights!

In the "Marine themed" dining room, the Le Fanal team will offer you a wide choice of delights to choose from.  Our menu typically offers grilled fresh fish, fisherman's pot, cod with Aioli, tapas........ and more!  Daily specials featuring local produce, available at the time, are also available, all accompanied by our local wines.

The menu we offer changes every year but our quality remains the same.  The chef always ensures, wherever possible, to work with fresh and local products..

Le Racou

The word “Racou” means “nook” in Catalan.  Heading south towards Spain, it is the last stretch of sandy beach before the rocky coastline starts.  It is one of the most typical places of the Argelèsian coast with its backdrop of hills and pine trees.

At the beginning of the 20th century, there were only bathing huts and reed fishing huts, built directly onto the sand, to be found here. The first “hard” houses did not appear until the early 1930s.

Le Racou is much more than just a district of Argelès sur Mer, it is a village in its own right and has retained its unique family friendly atmosphere.
